"Great fun for little babies" 2010-04-02
By Blue
I got these for my daughter when she was 5 months old. Spelled out a couple words - Yes, Hug, Nod, and her initials. I keep a set in the diaper bag, one on the changing table, one in her toy basket in the living room, etc. She loves to chomp them and try to yank them apart. They have different textures too. These are great as a general links set, but I wouldn't recommend them for older kids if you are trying to teach letters - some of them are the outline of the letter (like C, E, F), and some of them are the actual letter shape (like B, D, S). And once they're linked together, it's a little tough to see what letters you have. Also, since there's only one of each letter, there's limited options for spelling words since you run out of vowels pretty quickly. Other than that, they are great.

 "Transitional Learning Toy" 2010-03-02
By M. S. Jones (Fayetteville, TN)
16-month-old grandchild loves playing with these linking letters. Will use as teaching aid as he grows.

"Great for 1 year old" 2010-02-01
By Lady GA (Georgia, USA)
Great introduction to letters and colors. Individual letters are made of a soft rubber type material, making them a suitable teething toy. I purchased this for my friend's grandson. As we handed him one, we would tell him what the letter was. He is now beginning to recognize the letters and colors. We say a letter and he will reach for it. Of course, he puts it straight in his mouth still - but we hope he will soon do more than just chew on them.

 "These are great!" 2010-01-03
By ZombieLuv (NY)
My 9 month old baby boy loves his links. I use them to secure his pacifier to the stroller and toys as well. He likes to teeth on these, as they have different textures. He is always playing with the links, each day he has some shaking them around, chewing on them, and pulling them apart. I like these link is particular because they are safe for teething, the colors are bright and not painted, so they don't chip or flake, also it's a good value. You get 26 alphabet links.

 "Cute Rattle!!!" 2010-01-12
By Rena K (Seattle, Wasington)
This is a really cute rattle/teething toy for a baby. It is a little larger than some of the rattles I have found on Amazon, but I'm sure it will get a lot of use anyway. It's very sturdy and well made. Besides, what future "Soccer Mom" could resist it???

 "not so great" 2010-03-05
By Marissa Vogl (Charleston, SC)
The vibrator does not work. It is okay for a toy to chew on where baby will feel some texture. For the price I guess I can not complain to much. I was just excited about the vibration which is a disapointment

 "doesn't vibrate" 2010-02-13
By R. Ferguson
This was recommended by Parents magazine, so I did not look at reviews and just bought it. Actually, I bought it twice because the first shipment ended up covered in the snowbank & I forgot I ordered it already. Well, neither worked.

The first vibrated for the first hour or so. The second just arrived & it won't vibrate at all.

I used another vibrating star teether for my first son from First Years, but that's was hard for him to get to work. I had higher hopes for this one. Nope. And I ordered another one from Leapfrog that also arrived today - that doesn't vibrate either.

A good concept, if someone could make one that works well.

 "bought for my son" 2010-02-05
By Rachel Tee Lay Hwa (malaysia)
i have bought this for my son a week ago but it really not that friendly to my son. My son have to bite quite hard for it to vibrant. Sometimes vibrant will go off, no matter how you bite or press, it seems like not working, so i tried to knock it on the table, out of surprise, it works then go off again without vibrant. So irritate. I strongly not recommend to anyone who wants to buy this products. it sucks.

 "Not what I expected..." 2010-01-28
By Amy Mcelroy
I purchased this teether at Target about a month ago for my daughter who was 5 months old. I thought I was missing something... I looked and looked for a button or directions but for the life of me I could NOT get the teether to vibrate. Then after pushing and squeezing it for quite awhile it finally began vibrating, but now it would not stop! Once I messed with it some more it finally turned off but now does not work at all again. So confusing! Also, it is strange that some of the bubbles have no fluid in them. My daughter seemed very uninterested in it anyway so I guess it was no great loss.

 "Ok product" 2010-01-18
By R. Mckone (MN USA)
I read some of the previous reviews when I was looking to buy this product and ignored them. I really shouldn't have. Honestly although very cute and has the right idea, it is so hard to make this teether vibrate. I mean I have to squeeze so hard to get it to work. There is NO WAY my 6 month old will ever be able to do it on his own. So for now he just sucks on it and shakes it like a rattle. So if you are planning on using this for a vibrating teether, I would look elsewhere.

"Perfect first rattle for baby!" 2010-03-11
By Markella Evia (Philadelphia, PA)
I bought this for my baby when he was 2 months old.

It is a perfect rattle that touches on developmental

milestones. The baby LOVES the spinning reflective piece.

Easy to hold, very tactile and good size.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

 "Old School Entertainment" 2009-11-13
By Victoria Satterfield (Seattle, WA USA)
I bought this for my son when he was 3 months old. I love how easy it is for him to grasp the rings and skinny bar in the middle. The clear side of the rattle has a spinner in it with three different sides: a bullseye, a ladybug, and a mirror. I love twirling the spinner for my son. It's very relaxing to watch - almost hypnotic. This toy reminds me of the kind of stuff I had and loved as a baby. In the age of overstimulating toys, this one earns five stars from our family for being super inexpensive, captivating, and simple.

 "Great teether!!" 2010-02-10
By Caroline J. Thom (Seattle, WA USA)
Easy and light weight for my son to hold and wonderful served cold for sore gums.

 "OK" 2010-01-10
By qomag (USA)
Not her favorite but ok, my baby likes to play with it for w while. Just be careful if you are a germ freak like me and do not sterilize it in a boiling water because if deforms a little bit.

"Could use Amazon frustration free packaging" 2009-12-30
By Quoad Toad (Chicago)
This toy broke while being taken out of the package. The toy is held in place in the package with metal wires. The wires are snipped right off the cardboard packaging and then taped over. Because the wires were basically flush with the cardboard, they could not simply be untwisted. The wires were also thick and impervious to scissors. We probably should have been more careful in removing the wires, but in trying to get the item out of the packaging, the wire punctured one of the rubber wings, which caused all the water to drain out.

The baby didn't mind that the water was gone from one of the wings though and seemed mesmerized by the colors. She is about 7 months and was able to hold this in her hand and wave it around.

This teether would be great if the packing wasn't so frustrating to open. This would be a great candidate for Amazon frustration free packaging.

 "Her favorite teether!" 2009-12-25
By D. Burke
Being a new Grandma I decided to try out a few teethers for my new granddaughter. After trying several I finally hit upon this winner! As soon as she sees me go to the freezer she starts getting excited. I hold the Flutterby up and she reaches out for it and yells, which is her new trick to let me know she wants something, and grabs onto the black & white ring. Although she does like staring at the big black eyes she won't stop chewing on the frozen wings. I'm so glad I finally found a teether that she enjoys. Highly recommend this teether!

"My Little One Loves It" 2009-12-06
By C. McMahon (Fountain, CO)
My 7-month old son loves to chew on this teether. It is easy to grip and hold and the wings fit in his mouth easily.

"Must have baby item - great longevity" 2010-02-16
By S. Reagan (Maryland)
I purchased 2 of these and use them for everything. Use them to attach infant toys to stroller bars, baby gyms, infant bar handles, shopping cart covers etc.... When baby gets oldler they are great for teething and playing. Around 12 months of age, they can start linking them themselves for a great fine motor skill game. Then when they are toddling around, you can use them to link cabinets together to prevent babies from opening them. Such a cheap must have item. Highly recommend!!

 "Colorful, textured, pretty rings" 2010-02-15
By Count is great (New York, NY)
Very vibrant colors. The textures are interesting and make the ring feel more substantial than others I've seen. Often I catch the baby playing with and teething on these instead of the toys it is supposed to hold. The only downside is that sometimes I want to attach a toy to his stroller with these and my baby can pull hard and separate one ring from another, detaching the toy. In fact teaching a baby to separate the rings is one of the suggested uses of this toy, so maybe what it lacks for my purposes is made up for in it's other functions.

 "Baby loves them :)" 2010-01-31
By mom2two
These are cute, but of course the highest praise comes when they are covered in baby slobber. :) The bright colors and variety of textures have made these a hit for our nine month old. Being BPA free makes them a hit with Mommy too!

"Ring links are a must-have for every mom!" 2010-01-30
By bethknits (St Louis, MO USA)
Every mom must have ring links! You can use them to hook toys on to your bag, baby carrier, car seat, shopping cart, etc! These are bright and cheerful and do a nice job. My sons are now 10 and 14 years old, and we still have chains of rings hanging from their ceilings holding keychains and other small momentos!

"Great as toys - and useful for you!" 2009-12-12
By Shopaholic (San Bruno, Ca.)
I love these things . . .

Toddler uses them as bracelets, to chew, to hook other toys onto things.

Mom uses them to lock Toddler out of kitchen cabinets, to hook her packages to the stroller, to hang bras off a hanger to dry . . .

The list is endless.
