 "Not Bad" 2010-03-25
By A. Beck
I gave it four stars because it is what it says it is and functions correctly but it did not work for me. As soon as I tried pouring water on my child's head, he did his usual freak out. They do seem to help it from running directly into the child's eyes, but if they lean forward it will run off the side and into their face.

"~*~*~THESE WOULD ONLY WORK FOR CERTAIN HEAD SHAPES~DID NOT FIT MY GIRLS~*~*~" 2010-01-04
By Mommy of Cuties M & Z (USA)
I purchased these when my girls were around 10 months old. Both of them HATE having water in their face which makes rinsing their hair very difficult so I purchased 2 of these.

Since neither of them have been used to having these on their heads their immediate response was to pull it right off their heads. So for about a week straight I would put these on my girls on a regular basis while they were playing that way these would become 'normal' and fun to them.

So once my girls were more used to these I put them on their heads before I rinsed their hair. I poured water on one of their heads and my daughter started wiping her eyes and her face was wet. I noticed that the part that goes across their forehead was all sealed but both of my daughters temples are slightly indented which leaves a hole for water to go right into their face. No matter how tight I tried to get this that temple hole was there. If I can get my girls to look up while I am pouring the water then it does work pretty well but even now at 14 months they just don't understand to keep their heads up. I would give them lots of "good jobs" and praises when wearing the hats when I rinsed their heads but it still didn't help.

I now use my hand as a visor and tilt their heads back when I rinse their hair, it is easier and keeps the water out of their eyes better than the visors did. And I always tell them "good job" and give lots of praises & woo-hoos when I am rinsing their hair. They still don't like water in their faces but they tolerate it better now than they did at 10 months.

If your baby has a perfectly round head then this might work and they are cheap enough I think they are worth a try if your baby hates water in their face.

These are cute and I like the fact that you can wipe them dry. I'll try them again in a few months and if they work better I will update.

"good visor for the beach, not the tub" 2009-12-19
By cchocolate (San Jose, CA)
these visors are cute. they arrived on time and in good condition. they're too big for my 4-mos old son right now, but i think they'll be great when he's older and when we take him to the beach. though i don't think these visors is practical for bath, it won't keep the water out of your child's eyes, regardless of age.

"No more soap in the eyes" 2009-12-14
By Maria Donnelly (McClure, OH United States)
Bath time is more enjoyable when you can keep soap and water off your baby's face. Works both as a bath time toy and a dress up accessory :D

"Very cute but not for infant" 2009-08-12
By Ellie (Damascus, MD)
This is very cute and works perfectly for my 4-year old (she mostly wears it outside in the yard and swimming in outdoor pools), but too big for my 4 month old daughter, so all you moms looking for something to keep water out of your infants' eyes, this is for bigger kids (at least a year, I would guess).
